End of our first week in Shelter in Place

Hello my students,
I sent via Remind a packet that includes practice worksheets for math, ela, and history. To clarify a few concerns, all work done for history (worksheets and workbooks) will be given credit for 4th quarter. All other links I send are just for practice so that learning continues and you are engaged in academic endeavors. Note, the school year is not over. Keep learning, keep practicing, we've worked very hard this year to let this temporary closure keep us from doing what we are supposed to do.  You still have time to text your friends and play your video games. If you do not have a printer, do no worry. Use your workbooks for practice, you have one for math, ela, and history.

I hope to see you soon, until then I will continue to send links to resources via Remind and this blog.

Hola mis estudiantes,
Acabo de mandar un paquete con practicas para matematicas, lenguage, e historia. Para clarificar algunas preguntas, todas las asignaciones de historia (en el cuadernillo y "worksheets") seran contadas para el 4to termino. Lo demas es para practica. Hay que seguir aprendiendo y continuar con nuestros deberes academicos. No dejaremos que este virus nos prevenga aprender y hacer lo que debamos.  Si no tienen imprimidora, no se preocupen. Utilizen sus cuadernillos de matematicas, lenguage, e historia.

Espero verlos pronto. Por el momento seguire mandando enlazes de practica por Remind y este blog.

Si saben de estudiantes que no tienen Remind- pidanles que se inscriban lo mas pronto posible.

May 1st--What??!! Well my dear students, I am still trying to wrap my head around the May 1st decision. It will be another six weeks before I see you. Hopefully, we will all be healthy and well rested and ready to finish the year strong! I will be considering the assignments for the weeks of April and currently thinking to include a book report of your choice. I am very sad we didn't finish the Tale of the Samurai-what will happen with Taro? Anywho, because audible is free, we can listen to a book and write a report and you can email it to me-What do you think? Still in the planning stages and would really appreciate your input. Hello students and families, I have created this blog to help students and families keep learning and stay connected during this uncertain times. Please know that I am saddened at the abrupt end of last week and wish I had more time to plan ahead. However, I have time at home to get my thoughts organized and plan for student learning even if we are apart.
