May 1st--What??!! Well my dear students, I am still trying to wrap my head around the May 1st decision. It will be another six weeks before I see you. Hopefully, we will all be healthy and well rested and ready to finish the year strong! I will be considering the assignments for the weeks of April and currently thinking to include a book report of your choice. I am very sad we didn't finish the Tale of the Samurai-what will happen with Taro? Anywho, because audible is free, we can listen to a book and write a report and you can email it to me-What do you think? Still in the planning stages and would really appreciate your input. 3rd Week of School Closure Hello my students, I have sent via Remind the assignments for the 3rd week of school closure. In addition, I have added links to videos and readings. Your answers will be in your notebook or workbook. As always, if you need to reach me send messages via Remind or emails. I will get back to you quickly. A couple of notes of information: #1 My teacher page on the Hillview website is also a great source of information. I have updated assignments and added links to powerpoints, videos, and additional readings. End of our first week in shelter in place
End of our first week in Shelter in Place Hello my students, I sent via Remind a packet that includes practice worksheets for math, ela, and history. To clarify a few concerns, all work done for history (worksheets and workbooks) will be given credit for 4th quarter. All other links I send are just for practice so that learning continues and you are engaged in academic endeavors. Note, the school year is not over. Keep learning, keep practicing, we've worked very hard this year to let this temporary closure keep us from doing what we are supposed to do. You still have time to text your friends and play your video games. If you do not have a printer, do no worry. Use your workbooks for practice, you have one for math, ela, and history. Hello students and families, I have created this blog to help students and families keep learning and stay connected during this uncertain times. Please know that I am saddened at the abrupt end of last week and wish I had more time to plan ahead. However, I have time at home to get my thoughts organized and plan for student learning even if we are apart. I encourage my students to tell your friends who are not on Remind to join us and to follow this blog. You may respond and we can chat. I can honestly say, that I will miss you these coming weeks.
